On certain pdf documents, typically those with many fonts, printing may fail or print out with large black dots.
This is mostly a function of our Xerox copiers, which are out of date and hopefully will be updated or replaced soon.
Here are some steps that can work around the issue.
1) Download the pdf you are printing to your device.
2) Navigate to the pdf in your filesystem and open it.
3) Click on the three dots in the right corner to open a menu and click "Open in PDF viewer"
4) Open the print menu in the PDF viewer program and make sure "Print as Image" under "More settings" is checked
5) Print
