Sometimes a chromebook will appear to be completely dead, this is common if it loses power or is forced off during an update.
Follow these steps to see if it can be brought back to life.
1) Press the power and reset buttons at the same time.
You should see the screen come back on.
2) Plug the device into a known working power cord.
You should see a blinking light on the side of the computer when you plug it in.
Wait for it to change, if you see no change after around an hour, try step 1 again.
